Terms of use

The terms for this site and for Inyon's downloads. The code itself is under the MIT licence.

Inyon is free, open-source software that I, Abhash Chakraborty, build and publish. These terms cover this website and the files you download from it or from Inyon's GitHub releases. By using either, you accept them.

The licence

Inyon's code is under the MIT licence. It lets you use, copy, change and share the code, including in commercial work, as long as the copyright notice comes along. Where these terms and the licence differ about the code, the licence wins.

No warranty

Inyon is provided as it is, without any warranty: not that it works for your purpose, runs without interruption, or is free of bugs or security flaws. Releases are signed and every file is listed with its checksum, but you decide what you install and where.

You're responsible for your machines

  • Inyon lets a phone or browser type into terminals and coding agents on your computers. Pair only devices you control, keep your hub's password and tokens private, and remove a phone you've lost.
  • Coding agents can change files, run commands and spend money on your accounts. What they do on your machines is between you and the agent's provider, under that provider's terms. Inyon doesn't add a limit to what an agent may do.
  • Keep backups. Neither Inyon nor I can recover a lost file, session or key.

Use it on machines you're allowed to use

Use Inyon only on computers and accounts you own or have permission to use. Don't use it to get into anything you're not authorised to reach, to break the terms of an agent or service you connect it to, or to hide what you do from the owner of a machine.

Other services

Some features use services I don't run: Cloudflare quick tunnels, pkarr relays, npm, browser push services, and the agents' own providers and installers. Each has its own terms, and they can change or stop without notice. Cloudflare's quick tunnels in particular are meant for testing and come with no uptime promise; a hub on your own network or VPN doesn't depend on them. The privacy policy lists what each one sees.

Names and trademarks

Inyon and its kite mark are mine. Claude and Claude Code are trademarks of Anthropic; Codex of OpenAI; Gemini and Antigravity of Google; GitHub Copilot of GitHub; OpenCode of its makers; tmux, psmux and the other tools named here belong to their owners. They're named only to say what Inyon works with. Inyon isn't made, endorsed or supported by any of them.

Limitation of liability

As far as the law allows, I'm not liable for any loss or damage from using Inyon or this site, including lost data, lost work, costs from an agent's actions, or a security breach on your machines. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited.

Support

Inyon comes with no promise of support, fixes or future releases. I answer issues on GitHub when I can, and treat security reports first.

Changes

I may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest change, and every version is in the site's history on GitHub. Using Inyon or this site after a change means you accept the new version.
